Review for The Cuckoo's Child
A fresh, new slice of small-town American life in the 60's. By the second chapter, I had gotten into it and couldn't put it down. The author did a great job with flashbacks and cliffhangers and all of the round characters are special, unique, and interesting. The main character often has incorrect first impressions. You really get into the book and really really care what happens.
